Adjudication Services

I am available to adjudicate competitions, festivals, auditions, examinations and/or academic assessments for 2025 and beyond. During my years as an educator, my ensemble groups received invitations to compete at Nationals MusicFest Canada and was chosen from the Kiwanis Music Festival as the recipient of the John Bird Memorial Award and the Kiwanis Club of Kingsway Humber Award.
Under my leadership, my HS choirs received numerous Gold standings and in 2015, was chosen by the Atlantic Music Festival as the recipient of the Most Outstanding Choral Ensemble Award. I have conducted Chamber, Concert, Women’s, Men’s and Jazz Choirs, alongside Jazz and Concert Band. My vocal groups have performed in the Ontario Vocal Festival, Kiwanis Music Festival and were invited to participate in the University of Toronto High School Choral Festival where our students worked with Dr. Hilary Apfelstadt and composer Matthew Emery. From 2022 - 2024, I was on the jury for the Dora Mavor Moore Awards, Opera Division and currently, I am a JUNO Awards Committee Member, a professional member of the Recording Academy for the GRAMMY Awards and I also serve on the application panel for the COC Summer Intensive and the Composer-in-Residence programs at the Canadian Opera Company.

I am eager to share my knowledge and passion for the arts with your community and am equally excited to explore, create and cultivate the gift of song and performance through workshops and masterclasses that are tailored to your specific needs. I can provide feedback on performance, help your groups) learn new performance techniques and gain inspiration to progress forward.
Throughout my artistic journey, my passion and interest for new music & art song has led me to major summer programs both nationally and internationally. Select credits include: Susan McCulloch, Henry Herford, Elaine Kidd (Abingdon Summer School), Tom Diamond (COC, Glen Gould Studio), Ruth Smilie (Globe Theatre) in EOS: The dream of Nicolas Flood Davin, Mel Braun, Karl Paulnack, Tracy Dahl and Laura Loewen (Contemporary Opera Lab) in Baby Kintyre, John Hess in Der Kaiser Von Atlantis. Public Speaking

A champion for fostering community engagement, I use my diverse experiences in performance to empower companies to strengthen their social impact through music and the arts. Whether it is re-building best practices for employee well-being, or as a key-note speaker providing professional development; let me be the driving force behind uncovering artistic ways to serve and harness interpersonal relationships within the workplace.
My approach to public speaking is rooted at the intersection of music and community engagement. I am an emotionally intelligent and strategic thinker who is committed to cultivating transformative change and building a culture of belonging within the workplace.
Education
My academic background includes a Masters of Music in Literature and Performance degree; alongside an Artist Diploma degree from the University of Western Ontario. I also hold a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a minor in Drama from the University of Regina and have completed A.R.C.T. diplomas in both flute, voice and Gr. 10 piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto).
